PCats

Some FACTs about the PCATs

It measures general academic ability and scientific knowledge necessary for the commencement of pharmaceutical education. The PCAT is constructed specifically for colleges of pharmacy and currently, the overwhelming majority of AACP institutions require the PCAT for admission to pharmacy degree programs.

The PCAT tests basic scientific knowledge; math, verbal, reading comprehension, and writing skills; and your overall critical thinking skills. The test consists of 240 multiple-choice questions and two writing topics, placed in six separate sections. The exam spans approximately four hours, including one short break given in the middle. As of July 2011, the PCAT is offered exclusively on the computer

At KEBSAR we r¬¬e-teach the sciences with a PCAT perspective and focus. We teach you how to understand keys concepts and help you build speed and basic quick math skills essential to do well on the PCATs

OUR STRATEGY

Critical Thinking!

Speed is of the essence on the PCATs and every PCAT question, no matter how hard, is worth a single point. There's no partial credit or "A" for effort. And since there are so many questions to do in so little time, it wouldn't make sense to spend 10 minutes getting a point for a hard question and then not have time to get a couple of quick points from three easy questions later in the section.

Given this combination—limited time, all questions equal in weight—you've got to develop a way of handling the test sections to make sure you get as many points as you can as quickly and easily as you can.

We help you build you mental aptitude to excel on the test by training you to use the Process of Elimination (POE), Skip Around and recognize Questions that You are comfortable with and learning to Keep your cool and Keep Track of Time

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT. EVERYONE CLAIMS TO HAVE THE BEST INSTRUCTORS. WE ACTUALLY DO!

See for yourself, checkout one of their classes; then checkout ours. We are confident THERE'S NO COMPARISON!

Everyone has her or his own PCAT goals and expectations. We strive to give you the best shot at fulfilling yours. GOOD LUCK!
